The Years

Fifty years plus has passed and it is gone and another 50 years to come, hopefully. More than half of that spent in Malaysia and the remaining in Down Under.

Therefore, I am no longer a spring chicken. The old bones creaks every time it move, with a slip disc thrown in occasionally. Forgetness creeps in, misplacing your reading glasses and car keys, forgetting what you had for lunch an hour ago and cannot remember what was the conversation with the wife was about a few minute ago.

Not long ago Mum came to visit. We spoke of my younger days and she bought up things of my younger days and I cannot remember them. Sigh. Mum remembers everything. Is this that bad?

Dad gone with the Lord. So is my best friend Dad. Uncles, Aunties and workmates, too, have gone. Life is so fragile. You never know when are next.

Therefore Years may come, Years may go, a reminder of how mortal we are. An avenue to record & express what I can remember of the past & present, a place to share joys, happiness, sadness, disappointment and to keep in touch with friends & families.

As I grow older, I can come back now and then, read what I have written. Smile, laugh, and cry as I read my post. Ahhh, that is, if I can remember the link to my post.

Years May come, Years May Go

(written by Popp/Fishman)

Let´s take a look behind
And see what we can find
Last year has gone for everyone
Pass with time.
What happened to us then
Can happen once again
And watch it now to me
History.

What ever I refuse
My loving times with you
I wouldn´t change a single page
We´d live through
It wasn´t always smooth
Sometimes we jumped the groove
We shared some tears,
And then rowed again.

Some heartache sides will come
Life´s sure to dish us out
We´ll beat the lot and that´s is what
Life´s all about.
What ever may come true
Ahead for me and you
Someday it all will be
Memory

Years may come, (years may come)
Years may go, (quickly go.)
Some go far, (very far)
Some go slow, (oh so slow)
Some are good, (very good)
Some are bad, (very sad)
For each one, (for what comes)
Just be glad, (let´s be glad)

Years may come, (years may come)
Years may go, (quickly go.)
Some go far, (very far).
