A Christmas With You

This morning as I drove to work, I can see some Christmas decorations lining up the streets. Decorations were also building up in shopping malls and a reminder Christmas is not too far away. I wonder what I will do for this Christmas.
John Lennon had written his Christmas Song "So this is Christmas", I thought I will also write my Christmas Song. So this popped up, "A Christmas with you". It was written in a rush, may need some refining and maybe a tune to it.

A Christmas with You

The years drifted by

Ever so quickly

It was like only yesterday

When I last saw your face

Each day passes by

Without missing you

Your smile, your sweetness, your love

A lingering memory

Streets and malls lined with decorations

Carols and jingles on the air waves for all

A reminder the festivities is near

Another year is just about to pass by

A Christmas with you

Is my Christmas wish

To share my love with you

Holding you close in my arm,

Whispering, I love you and

You will be with me forever

You let me go,

Though it broke your heart

Why I asked over and over again?

Is it because you love me so?

Time will tell

When we will be together again

Meanwhile let the love we had for each other

Burn brightly as ever

Streets and malls lined with decorations

Carols and jingles on the air waves for all

A reminder the festivities is near

Another year is just about to pass by

A Christmas with you

Is my Christmas wish

To share my love with you

Holding you close in my arm,

Whispering, I love you and

You will be with me forever

PS:
Boss on the prowl again.
